WHO WE ARE
The International Fellowship House is an independent, Boston-based nonprofit with a mission to help international students flourish academically, socially, and spiritually.
The IFH operates a home with beds for twenty male residents and a managing couple in Boston’s historic Back Bay.
Founded in 1966 while Boston boiled with racial tension, the International Fellowship House has provided a safe and welcoming home for over a thousand international students and researchers from more than fifty countries.
We are a friendly and diverse community that provides a place for international researchers to excel at their work, build life-long friendships, and engage in thoughtful conversations.
Is my donation secure?
Absolutely. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We use industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.
Is my donation tax deductable?
The International Fellowship House is a publicly supported organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and our Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is 04-2397292.To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your donation receipt as your official record.
Do I get a receipt?
A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide on the donation form. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processed.

The IFH offers more than a safe, economical place to live. It supports the world’s scholars in their pursuit of academic excellence. It encourages life-long friendships between students from various academic disciplines, countries, and backgrounds. It provides a thoughtful environment for discussing some of the world’s most pressing issues from a truly global perspective. It fosters meaningful conversation between Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, and those of any or no religion.
