Before we can consider you for residency at the IFH, you will need to fill out this application. Housing at the IFH is competitive. We typically receive about 30 applications for 8-12 spots so be sure to fill out the application completely.

A brief interview in person, via Skype or via a video recording is required before admittance for all applicants.

The IFH only accepts male international students, scholars, and researchers. We accept long-term residents (September-May) and short term residents (May-August) and give preference to graduate students and researchers. We occasionally accept residents during other times of the year such as for one semester only. Please contact the managers if you have any questions or would like more information about room availability.
